Our customer, leaders in the distribution of beverages in Montreal and Toronto to food distributors and enterprises is currently looking to add a HR Coordinator to their team. This is the first step in creating and HR Infrastructure to help support their growth.
You will be working hand in hand with the President on several different projects. Due to their growth a large part of this opportunity is to help in the recruitment process.
Your main duties will include:
Work with Managers to help understand their needs.
Write job descriptions ( English and French) and advertise them on several platforms to create visibility and attract applications.
Contact candidates, properly screen them over the phone and book appointments to meet face to face. Along side Managers, meet candidates and evaluate hard and soft skills.
Grow network of potential candidates.
Participate in the decision process.
Secondly you will be in charge of initiating and implementing new HR practices and policies with regards to employees. Upkeep and maintain employee records and files. Participate in creating employee manual and performance evaluations.
You would also be the point of contact for the CSST and Normes du travail
You will work along side different managers on special projects relating to Human resources
Our customer would like to consider an individual with 3-5 years of experience in Human resources ideally in a Montreal based SMB. Since the job is heavy on recruitment you must have at least 2 years of recruitment experience. You will need to have a completed Bachelor’s and be fluently bilingual. Ideally you’re autonomous, initiative driven and have a great sense of prioritizing. You must be able to work under minimal supervision and be flexible.
