Kindred Home Care is seeking a Home Care Manager to become a member of our team. We are currently hiring a team member to work full time in Shediac, NB.
As a Home Care Manager, you will work with our dedicated team to provide the kind of quality care that allows seniors to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. But the job doesn’t stop there! You will also help us to achieve our larger goal of making Kindred Home Care the most admired senior care brand in North America. The Manager is responsible for the functional oversight of the region’s team, including the planning, scheduling, organizing and leading of the regional team in the provision of effective and efficient client services.

has minimum 2 years of relevant management experience
As a Home Care Manager you will be required to:
actively seek new ways to generate business, including building strong working relationships with social workers and medical professionals on a weekly basis
assure continuity of care for patients/families and manage individual care plans, go on home visits and complete assessments of ongoing client experience and satisfaction
be a solid listener who goes out of their way to explain and resolve any concerns or problems from staff, clients and customers and has the ability to provide a positive and friendly approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
have strong management skills to lead a group of 40-80 caregivers from the screening and hiring process into the field, where you will support existing caregivers and hire multiple new caregivers each week.
schedule your caregivers shifts, focusing on finding great client/caregiver matches and also finding last-minute replacements when necessary to ensure that all requisitioned hours are filled
be on call 24/7 to ensure that we can take on new clients quickly and deal with any situations as they arise
evaluate and monitor the quality of services delivered and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
