Primary Responsibilities:
Overall management for Sales and Operations for the GreenSaver Home Energy Services offering retrofit services to private sector clients.
Reporting to this position will be Manager, Retrofits Operations and Sales Manager, Private Retrofit Sales
Be integral in taking GreenSaver to the next level of performance and achieving the Company’s ambitious growth and profitability targets through cost-efficient and effective operational delivery
Ensure the Company and individual business units are set up to scale and conform to the corporate needs. This includes implementing organizational structural changes and recommending and implementing improvements re: workflow while maintaining GreenSaver’s entrepreneurial drive and business development opportunities.
While reporting directly to the CEO, you will also work very closely with the Executive Team and across all levels and all areas of the organization. You will help identify opportunities for improvement and ‘make it happen’
Provide leadership, direction and support to Retrofit and Retrofits Private Sales Manager(s) to achieve operating targets
Work closely with the VP, Programs & Customer Service and the Director, Business Development, Marketing, Sales to ensure full coordination in program and consumer/private operational delivery
Conduct various business analyses and build financial models to inform and advise on business decisions. This includes conducting research, preparing reports and presentations, as required
Stay on top of market trends and the competitive landscape. Constantly look for market opportunities and ideas to create more value for our customers by doing research and speaking with our clients, customers and business partners
Find, establish, nurture and manage partnership and business opportunities in the Retrofits Operations delivery area
Other roles and duties, as periodically determined by the President & CEO
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-7 years in an operations management role (field operations management and working with contractors and private sales groups is a definite asset, as is having previously owned or managed your own contracting business)
A university degree in business or engineering/building science is preferred; however, years of direct industry and business experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of a university degree
A track record of achieving positive business results in previous ventures
The ability to lead, manage, inspire and develop people to achieve their full potential
Well-developed analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Working experience with budgets and financial planning
Experience in operational planning, development and evaluation
Familiarity with employee relations and Human Resources best practices
Exceptional skills in hiring, training, delegating work and developing people
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Superior client/customer relationship management skills
Excellent process improvement experience, including the utilization of continuous improvement tools/technologies
Compensation:
An attractive compensation package, with a substantial performance-related component, will be offered to the successful candidate. Compensation will consist of Base salary, a performance bonus, determined by Scorecard and KPI achievement, and full company benefits, consisting of regular benefits and GreenSaver
