Fleet Manager – Atlantic Canada

Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, you are an experienced Manager with a strong understanding of equipment asset management through the life cycle. You will ensure equipment is properly maintained and operates cost effectively, with a high level of reliability and maximum efficiency. Your strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills will allow you to manage, mentor, and guide shop personnel to their fullest potential. Responsible for annual budgeting, monthly cost analysis reports and asset replacement requirements, you will maintain frequent communication and solid working relationships with the Construction Managers, Shop Superintendents and Safety Manager.
You have 5 years’ management experience, working knowledge of maintenance software systems and general accounting practices, and excellent computer skills in Email, Excel, MS Word. A valid driver’s licence is required. Your experience meeting deadlines and the ability to work under stressful conditions will ensure your success in this very important role. Preference will be given to those with fleet management experience.
