We are currently offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the Director of Park Operations. The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing a diverse range of confidential administrative support to the Director of Park Operations and to the Cultus Lake Park Board Commissioners.
In addition to being well organized and detail focused you will possess a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, and discretion in managing confidential and sensitive documents and information; exercise good judgement and effectively handle conflicting priorities. Duties include, but not limited to, preparation of Board agendas and reports; attend and record minutes of Board Meetings; administers the corporate records management system; assists with of Freedom of Information and Protection of Information Act, drafts contracts leases and bylaws, and preparation of draft budgets. Also required are excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office; excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary courses/training in Public/Business Administration or Local Government Administration plus five (5) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
