Position description
Reporting to the General Manager directly, mainly responsible for the product design, manage a small team in production and create procedures for them where it is necessary. Manage the daily work of the production team and report back to the General Manager. Software programming knowdledge is a must since the product is using custom made panels as well as PLC.

Main duties
Participate directly in the design, development and inspection of technical projects and in the engineering work of the department.
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the production team and later the client operations after the in-place assembly
Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, laboratory or firm.
Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications of our product, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings, continue the relations with the client for the support of the product
Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the production team
Recruit personnel and oversee development and maintenance of staff competence in required areas

Employment requirements
A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
Extensive experience in an engineering discipline, including supervisory experience, is required.
A good understanding of Structural design and inertia of the componenets is required.
Microprocessor programming knowledge is required.
PCB design experience and a good understanding of electronic components is required.
Hardware prototyping experience with conventional and LCD Resin 3D printers is required.
UNIX Server knowledge is required as our products are logging data on the cloud.
CAD software design experience is required especially on OpenSCAD for parametric design.
Proficiency on project management tools such as JIRA or Teamwork is required.
Computer interface designing experience with HTML applications and other GUI designing tools such as CSS and Javascript is prefered.
Python programming experience to manage the communication between the microprocessor and the computer controller is prefered.
Wireless communication tools experience such as WiFi, Arduino Lora, Bluetooth 5.0 for complex data transfers in between modules is prefered
