Creating workplans
Sourcing contractors
Keeping projects on schedule
Coordinating with contractors
Loading data into our proprietary platform
Loading classes on our LMS (Learning management system)
Beta testing all of our courses for quality
Copy editing
Confirming work products
Writing contracts
Keeping to budgets
Negotiating with contractors
Thinking about ways to improve efficiency (and make your work-life easier)
and much much more!
Qualities we are looking for:
Preference given to those with education or Architecture, Engineering, Construction experience.
You must have native level proficiency in English.
You should be excessively detail oriented and your mission should be to sweetly drive your manager insane with organization and managing to deadlines.
The team within the company is a close knit family atmosphere of 6, you must be social and friendly with a desire to be more than just a voice on the phone. Even though this role is unlike the others, the team is very interdependent and takes care of each other.
You must be comfortable picking up the phone and dealing with grumpy, weird, flighty, MIA contractors and talking them back onto the rails.
OK’ness cold emailing potential contractors and experts to build courses.
Our team spans three English speaking countries (contractors span far more) and we are far too often divided by our shared language – you must always assume the best in people because chances are when things go awry it was some English to English translation issue and not anything else.
You must thrive in chaos. This is an early stage company and while we are moving to a land of organizational bliss, we are not there yet. Part of your mental job is to help us bring crazy organization and process to this chaos.
Your heart should hurt from the liberties the writer has taken with the English language in this post, double points if you waggled your finger at the screen or head palmed.
Excel, you MUST know it and love it.
Project, you should know what it is and have a basic understanding of how to use it.
Access, not required walking in the door but you should be open to the experience.
Must have a desire to grow. You will be coming into the organization and process clean-up of our past sins phase. The next phase is crazy growth. We need people who lock down the process and want to ultimately manage the PM team.
