Job Summary
The Rehabilitation and Continuing Care Program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced health care professional with a collaborative management style to join its management team. Leadership within the Program is currently required in the area of Tertiary Rehabilitation and Program Intake. This position is accountable for the effective planning, direction and evaluation of patient and client services. Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to, human resource management, including recruitment, financial management, including budget preparation and monitoring, planning, development and evaluation of division goals and objectives, policy and standards development and implementation and evaluation of quality initiatives. Additionally, the incumbent will manage the referral and intake process for Rehabilitation and is the main point of contact for internal and external partners.

Constantly sits at a desk performing paper/computer work, answering telephone calls or emails; occasionally walks or stands to observe or to consult with other staff or sits conducting interviews.
Regularly performs fine finger/precision computer work requiring steadiness and accurate movement/control.
Visual and hearing concentration is required to observe or consult with staff, to work on documents or to listen to staff on the telephone or in person.
Job Qualifications
Education
A Baccalaureate Degree in a health related discipline is required.
Master’s degree in the applicable area is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in rehabilitation within the last seven (7) is required.
Management experience is required.

Current registration/licensure in the relevant professional association is required.
