Avon is looking for a District Sales Manager to work independently with our direct sales team to help drive growth. Within our Multi-Level-Marketing environment, District Managerstrain and develop Sales Representatives to become top sellers and recruit a team of representatives.
The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing the district’s resources and executing the strategic efforts ensuring that Avon products and services effectively reach the district’s Consumers through the direct selling channel.
This individual is the link between the Division Sales Manager and the Sales Representative and has the responsibility of communicating both upward and downward while continuously motivating the Sales Representative to service the Customers within the market.
We are seeking individuals with demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Management & Leadership
Business Planning & Execution
Sales& Network Marketing
Prospecting & Recruiting
Talent development, strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential to excel in this demanding environment, as well as a proven track record of motivating others to achieve targets.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years insidesales and/or business experience of varied scope.
Requires experience working with independent individuals, preferably on a close interpersonal basis.
Must possess the knowledge, skills and background to manage a variety of sales-related activities.
Experience in speaking before groups of people of varied backgrounds preferred.
Requires good knowledge of technology, including teleconferencing tools.
Other requirements include bilingualism in French and English. Training and presentation skills and direct sales experience are definite assets.
