Director of Customer Experience – Mama Earth Organics – Peterborough, Ontario

We deliver to thousands of homes each week in Toronto. Our Administrative and customer service team works here in Peterborough. We’re well known for the way we treat our customers (we have hundreds of reviews online and on Facebook – they’re all amazingly good).

Our team has grown quite rapidly over the past few years and we’d like this position to be responsible for this entire department. A portion of the position will be hands-on member service (required in order to be in touch with the needs of our customers and also the needs of our customer service team). The other portion will involve overall management, including:

Reviewing and analyzing daily/weekly metrics
Responsible for setting both long term and short term goals and putting plans in place (and adapting plans) to meet your goals.
Weekly reporting on metrics and goals/projects/issues
Scheduling (and periodic adapting of schedule throughout the year as we grow)
Responsible for ensuring that our member service team is happy, healthy, effective and efficient and balanced (that’s a big one).
Growing and managing our individual members of the team (informal and formal appraisals)
Proactively manage changes in strategy, identify potential issues, devise contingency plans and communicate these to the management team

Compensation:

Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm)

We deliver directly to our members’ homes, throughout the greater GTA, on a weekly basis.

We have an office in Toronto (where most of our staff work) and an office here in Peterborough (with a staff of around 10-12 right now).
