Development and Sales Department Manager – Infowise Solutions – Toronto, ON

Job duties:

Supervise customer support, software deficiency validation, bug fixes and new features development
Hands-on application / product support
Diagnose product issues on the spot, explaining situations with patience and empathy
Communicate electronically and in person with users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
Supervise other technical support workers in this group
Vendor coordination to assist with application configuration changes, patches and software upgrades
Ownership of change management process including the documentation of all impacts to the production environment and comply with required approvals.

Skills requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent

3 or more years of experience in management a team
6 or more years of in depth experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010/2013: development, deployment and configuration
7 or more years of experience in Microsoft .Net software development
ASP.Net Web development and deployment
2 or more years of experience working with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008/2012.
Experience with cloud computing and Office 365
Work experience from a SharePoint add-on products company in development / support
