ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager, the Cyber Security & Architecture Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of IT professionals responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive, organization-wide cyber security and architecture technologies and practices.
This is a challenging and dynamic opportunity for an experienced IT manager and excellent people leader, who is committed to the City’s values of Community, Innovation, Integrity, Service and Teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (in a related field) supplemented by a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of seven (7) years experience in an IT management role, including at least three (3) years in cyber security. The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated understanding IT systems and architecture, required to anticipate, and respond to possible security risks, breaches, and areas of weakness. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification is considered an asset.
