Being a very strong Customer Service Professional you will manage the support of Lumentum’s global customer needs and to carry out all necessary customer transactions, related to order and delivery of Lumentum products worldwide.
Representing us as a World-Class Global Customer Service Organization both internally & externally through daily activities and interactions which will include but not limited to:
Taking customer requests for information, quote, orders, returns or other queries, and to enter them in company systems and/or initiate company action to meet these needs;
Providing customers with quick and thorough responses to all queries, including keeping customers updated of any order-related issues and to deal with customers courteously and professionally;
Keeping CS management informed of contentious customer issues, and to immediately escalate any critical customer issues to CS management;
Managing and improving the customer relationship by providing superior customer service which will maintain and grow our business with our customers;
Maintaining all required metrics for turnaround time and task completion, as well as all order, quote and RMA processing;
Assisting co-workers when required with tasks and responsibilities in their job area;
Applying the effort and hours required to complete all necessary tasks in the work week;
Following company processes and procedures for order processing and approvals, and to identify/address customer requests for procedure changes;
Work with Operations to resolve customer schedule and delivery issues.
Work with Finance to resolve customer invoice/credit issues;
Ensuring that business transactions with our customers are compliant with Trade regulations, and that required compliance paperwork is provided to and by the customer;
Ensuring that business transactions with our customers are compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, follow ISO Certification standards, and that necessary approval and file backup information are obtained and kept;
The ability to organize and direct programs/projects independently or within a small group.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in supporting and servicing customers, or in developing solutions for customers;
Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office as a minimum);
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and to be effective in a high-pressure environment;
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills;
Technical knowledge and experience with optical products (would be an asset);
Oracle based application experience (would be an asset);
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills;
College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Science.
