Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Protective Services, the Community Peace Officer 1 enhances public safety and quality of life through the enforcement Provincial Statutes and Town Bylaws. As part of the Protective and Emergency Services Team working with a total of two CPO’s, this position maintains a close working partnership with the RCMP, Fire and EMS Services. As a CPO1 in High Level you will have a comprehensive and dynamic set of duties. This position involves conducting thorough investigations, preparing court packages, issuing tickets, summons or laying charges as required, effecting arrests and executing arrest warrants. This position is a full time permanent position, 40 hrs per week with shift work and weekends. A comprehensive benefits package is offered after 3 months30
