Responsibilities
Lead the development and publication of regular and special reports
Contribute persuasive material to ASF advocacy campaigns and other projects
Liaise with other ASF departments to assist with communication related activities
Contribute to ASF’s blogs, social media, and our quarterly magazine, The Atlantic Salmon Journal
Assist with media relations activities and special events
Support the executive director of communications and marketing
Qualifications
Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Comfort with communication and media software
Deadline driven
Creative
Education and Experience
A relevant post-secondary degree or comparable experience
Other considerations
Job location is anywhere in Atlantic Canada or Quebec with preference given to candidates able to make regular work visits to ASF’s headquarters near St. Andrews, N.B.
Compensation and benefits
Compensation: $47,900 to $56,000. ASF offers a competitive benefits package including RRSP contributions, vacation and sick leave, and health coverage.
