Responsibilities to assist with:
Greenest City’s social media and web content under the supervision of Greenest City core staff.
Create and implement publicity materials online and hard copy.
Communication materials, registration, photography at Greenest City events — delegate/manage/support volunteers helping with these tasks.
Keep up to date our community engagement, partner, corporate sponsor lists.
Create and distribute on-line newsletters twice monthly.
Support all registration and communications with program participants and community about events.
Engage with youth organizations to increase youth engagement as volunteers with Greenest City.
Support with limited events and market, as needed with set up and clean up.
Support the community engagement at Greenest City in the outdoor gardens.
Attend and support team members doing workshops and events online or in person at Greenest City.
Weekly administrative duties as needed
Work well with team members.
Represent Greenest City and its mission in the community;
Once a week evenings are required and occasional weekends (to be scheduled in advance).
Qualifications
Proficient in most common office suite programs — specifically Google G Suite, but also Squarespace Web Design Platform, Image Editing (Photoshop or comparable program), MailChimp Online Marketing Platform
Proficient with social media platforms — Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and self manage
Strong desire to learn
Demonstrated ability in working with and manage volunteers

Hours and Compensation: 30hrs for a total of 240 hrs at $14/hr
