Job Duties and Responsibilities
Direct, analyze, and evaluate the company’s operating functions.
Confer with vice presidents, chief financial officer, and managers to coordinate and prioritize planning and budgets.
Direct and approve the investment of funds, optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
Assess alternatives and overall financial performance to suggest appropriate course of action to achieve profit objectives.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, cost control procedures, and regulatory actions.
Review financial statements and branch offices’ profits and losses.
Oversee the development, organization, and planning of audit procedures, systems, schedules, findings and recommendations in conjunction with Chief Financial Officer.
Develop and implement policy and coordinate the development of procedure manuals.
Direct review and verification of records, compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
Supervise, train, and/or mentor staff as appropriate.
Examine market changes in salary/ wage and recommend revisions to company compensation plan.
Review job descriptions and assess appropriate compensation level.
Responsible, as part of the management team, for performance appraisal systems and reward or incentive programs.
Actively participate as a member of the executive management team.
Maintain daily log.
Represent company to financial community, major customers, government agencies, shareholders, and the public.
Accepts responsibility and leads all proactive safety and quality incentives.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or equivalent. Human resource management degree or equivalent an asset.
Work Experience
3 to 5 years of relevant executive and/or managerial experience in the insulation services industry, including the areas of heat, cold, noise and fire protection.
Wage
$150,000 – $232,000 per annum
