Keremeos is currently seeking a CAO to provide effective advice and support to the Mayor and Council in executing a strategic vision that meets both the current and future needs of the community. In doing so, you will provide strong leadership to a team of dedicated staff in an organization with 8 employees with an annual budget of $2.5 million.
As the ideal candidate, you are an accomplished local government leader with a minimum of five years senior administrative experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, and are effective at providing customer service in a small sized municipality. You are known for your strong management and interpersonal skills, are a visionary thinker with the ability to implement a plan into a reality, have good human resources and labour relations skills, and are an effective communicator with sound political judgement.
