Canvassing both door to door throughout the HRM and at the street level in areas of high foot traffic, our teams work five days a week between Monday-Sunday with a variety of daytime and early evening hours to accommodate flexible schedules.

Membership canvassing is an incredibly important position at the Ecology Action Centre and is valued as such. Door canvassers travel door-to-door to different communities in our province and invite new membership to our organization. Street canvassers work exclusively in the HRM and engage the community on busy sidewalks to increase membership. Hours are Monday to Sunday, 5 days a week, 30-35 hours a week.
