With the development of the corporate Canadian strategy, our organization’s reliance on integrated comprehensive growth strategy plan in a mature market. The Manager of Business Intelligence & Strategy will work to ensure the company has the necessary resources and understanding of strategic planning to support enterprise-wide alignment to the targets and objectives to support strategic decisions, making in an integrated and collaborative environment. The Strategy division will leverage strategic fact-based trends, customers, competitors, capabilities, costs, etc. and will develop aligned action plans across the organization to drive strategic actions that ensures the company’s continued success.
This position is accountable for implementing and managing the Strategy initiatives across the company, ensuring the achievement of the planned actions in several different segments and line of businesses.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
Manager of Business Intelligence & Strategy is accountable to:
Support the creation of a divisional strategic plan, including coordination and synthesis of line of business plan;
Conducts market scans with a long-term view; analyzes and interprets market research and intelligence for competitive and growth opportunities;
Drive the development of operational plans for the opportunities that have been selected for pursuit by working in a complementary fashion across the businesses;
Facilitate strategy planning sessions at the executive management, senior leadership and department levels with key stakeholders for divisional and departmental alignment;
Provides training, mentoring and guidelines to colleagues in various department and business units on topics and techniques for Strategy and Business Intelligence, particularly with respect to industry best practices;
Developing strategic and analytical frameworks to solve critical business issues in collaboration with key stakeholders;
Evaluate long-term strategic investments, opportunities, businesses and alliances;
Develop division strategic plan documentation and presentations including data gathering, analysis, content and recommendations to be used by senior leadership for internal and external audience
Supports initiatives led by members of the divisional Leadership team, including but not limited to market intelligence, M&A, and penetration of new markets.
Lead division strategic initiatives as needed
Qualification
Education preferred: BA in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing;
+ 7 years of experience with Strategic planning, Marketing and sales strategies, business plan development and Business Intelligence;
Experience in market data interpretation and presentation;
Must be an advanced Microsoft office tools and experienced in analytical systems;
Strong creative and analytical mindset; must have the wherewithal to create and implement new business strategies and tactics;
Fluent in English (spoken and written);
Other languages beneficial;
Ability for traveling local and internationally
Salary range: 65K – 77K
