Responsibilities:
Manage existing client accounts for recurring sales of trees and carbon credits
Identify and bring onboard new clients including brands and reseller partners wanting to invest in high quality reforestation through inbound and outbound sales approaches
Collaborate with the Reforestation Partnerships Team to manage inventory of trees and carbon credits generated by projects and available for sale
Work with the Commercial Director and the Reforestation Partnerships Team to develop a sales strategy to drive the growth of Taking Root’s reforestation projects
Manage the organization’s CRM and deliver regular sales reporting and updates
Work with the marketing and design team to develop high quality sales materials and marketing campaigns to support business development goals
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
5+ years relevant business development and sales experience with carbon credits, nature-based solutions or GHG reporting services
Commercial skills including account management, knowledge of sales processes and proposal writing
Experience working with and managing CRMs
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
Comfortable working virtually across international settings and timezones (some international travel may be required)
Spanish speaking is a big plus
