Business Development – Calgary – TRS Staffing

Every year, we place thousands of skilled technical and professional services staff – both contract and permanent – into sites across five continents. TRS Canada are currently expanding and seeking a Business Development Representative, the ideal candidate will have a sales background within the recruitment sector and the vision to identify opportunities for growth and success.

Job Description
Develop new client opportunities regionally and nationally.
Capable of attracting professional, profit-focused, long term business onboard.
Ability to follow corporate direction, provide self direction and meet sales goals. Develop new client relationships for region.
Maximizing TRS’ relationship with Clients, to leverage outside sales for the region
Determine appropriate trade shows to participate in, organize effort and attend shows as main contact to generate sales leads
Proven ability to meet annual sales revenue goals.
Maintain consistent approach and understanding of accurate and competitive markups.
Preparation and negotiation of Client Contracts.
Coordination of Client Contract execution between Legal, new client and Management
Preparation of proposals for prospective new clients
Submission of monthly status reports to Manager
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-
Associated Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Development/Marketing preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of directly related experience.
Understanding of the regulatory and legislative requirements in the recruitment sector.
Highly proficient with MS Office suite
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Effective time management and prioritizing skills
Integrity and commitment to quality and service excellence
