Gordon Stirrett Wealth Management is one of Canada’s largest independent financial planning firms with Manulife Financial.

Job Summary:

The business development associate is responsible for selling the professional services of Gordon Stirrett Wealth Management and also providing administrative assistance for existing clientele. The successful candidate will also have advancement potential to become a practicing financial advisor but will first be required to learn all facets of the organization.

Essential Functions:

Outbound telephone calls
Trade Shows
Administrative support for existing administration staff
Truly a ‘jack of all trades’ position with advancement potential
Financial planning training and development will be offered.

Qualifications Required:

Exceptional communication skills.
Clear and concise verbal and written skills.
Strong ability to multi-task.
Self starter

Education and/or Experience:

Undergraduate Degree a requirement
CSC or mutual funds license an asset but not a requirement.
Life insurance license an asset but not a requirement.
Willingness to accept the challenge of further education a must.
