Position Details:
The Associate – Business Development, and Portfolio Investments will report directly to the President.
The successful candidate will be a high performance individual, working as part of a team to acquire, develop, construct, and operate global solar PV facilities.
The Associate will assist with company growth across Canada, the United States, and other global jurisdictions on an opportunistic basis.
While no prior knowledge of the solar industry is necessary, the following qualifications are required:
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Entrepreneurial spirit;
Ability to work as part of, and later lead, teams;
Analytic experience at assessing the viability of potential portfolio acquisitions;
Experience in M&A transactions, either financial or legal (not required but preferred).
Strong MS Office skills – mainly Powerpoint, Excel, Word
Strong calculation skills and ability to very rationally approach transactions and analyze them
Innovative out of the box thinking
Compensation: Industry competitive with an attractive bonus structure. Commensurate with experience.
