Ecojot’s purpose is to give children in need sustainable tools for them to develop their literacy skills in the hope that at least one and hopefully many will grow to become positive influencers and give back to their community and our world.
We are looking for a detail-focused and hardworking individual who works well independently and in a team to handle front desk administrative and accounting tasks.
General Duties:
Answer phones
Process orders
Assist in customer service inquiries
Handle all bookkeeping tasks
Generate sales reports/prepare sales materials when needed
Keep files organized and office area tidy
The candidate requirements:
Excellent verbal and written English skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting or administrative position.
Excellent computer skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft programs such as word, excel, outlook and accounting programs such as AccountEdge.
Ability to problem solve and a good understanding of daily business operations.
Post-secondary education: diploma in business administration and accounting.
Has a sense of urgency and prioritizing projects/tasks.
Exceptional co-ordination, organization and time-management skills.
