Automotive Service Manager
Clark Chevrolet Buick GMC have an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Manager at our dealership in Sussex, NB. This position requires an energetic person with excellent communication skills and the drive and willingness to learn on the go. Previous automotive service experience is a definite asset. You must possess phone skills, basic computer knowledge, a valid driver’s license and the ability to deliver great customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage /Coach service advisors and technicians, to maximize shop productivity and promote teamwork within the shop environment.
Maintain the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customers concerns immediately and according to Clarks policy.
Supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers.
Creating goals and objectives for the department, which includes an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.
Provide training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel. Encouraging all service staff to keep their skills up-to-date through GM Learning Centre training courses.
Manage workflow in the shop with all technicians.
Manage customer invoice disputes and warranty issues.
Enforcing policies, procedures, processes and administrating discipline.
We are looking for a qualified candidate currently in a Service Manager position or with similar experience. Candidates should have previous experience in the Automotive Industry, as well as an extensive technical background with management experience or training,
