Eastern College Inc., Halifax campus, is actively seeking a customer service and administrative professional for the role of Administrative Assistant.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a point of contact for all persons who visit or contact Eastern College ensuring that everyone feels good about their first impression. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the campus by assisting the Campus Director to ensure all administrative activities are current and up-to-date. The demands placed on this position require the successful candidate to be very friendly, confident, and organized.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have 1 – 2 years of experience in record keeping, filing, and file management. Previous administrative experience is essential to success in this role. The ideal will be a customer focused and service oriented individual with excellent communication, problem solving, critical thinking, organization, and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required. Preference will be given to those candidates with a post-secondary education.
Hours of Work:
This position is a 1 year contract (maternity leave). Hours of work will be assigned by the Campus Director.

The scheduled start for this opportunity October 2016
