Administrative Assistant   / Cash Relief
Branch Operations and Agent Services – St. John’s

Our Administrative Assistant provides operational and administrative support for our Sales and Service locations in areas outside St. John’s and cash relief in our St. John’s office.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide accounts payable and budget tracking services
Create and maintain reports and correspondence using Excel, Word and our in-house computer system
Arrange meetings and seminars, assist with training and event planning
Co-ordinate office requirements, supplies, donations and mail services for Branch and Agent locations
Maintain records, manuals and promotional item inventory
Co-ordinate travel arrangements and venues
Provide back up for Personal Lines Senior Administrators
Provide Front Customer Counter Reception / Cash Relief

Qualifications

Completion of post secondary studies in Office or Business Administration or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
A Provincial Property & Casualty Insurance License would be an asset
Significant skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience or training in the insurance industry would be an asset
Experience in the preparation of reports, presentations and training material
Initiative, flexibility and adaptability
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
