As an experienced Retail Operations Manager you bring 5+ years of merchandising experience in the retail, garden center and/or gift shop industry. As a self-starter and known to take the initiative as you will lead a team of 15-20 full and seasonal part-time sales associates providing training and guidance to achieve positive results for the operation. Reporting to the General Manager you will aid in administering the store’s daily activities (sales, marketing and human resources).
To excel in this position, you must have the following qualities:
Sense of customer service
Sense of entrepreneurship
Experience in the retail industry
Experience with POS systems
Experience in Horticulture and/or interest in gardening
Management skills (financial, inventory, human resources)
