By-Law Officer
The successful candidate will be required to:
Work evening, weekend and shift work, and be willing to be on call as required
Demonstrate experience handling and caring for dogs
Have a minimum two years’ experience with bylaw enforcement
Have proven knowledge of Municipal and Territorial Bylaw Legislation
Have or be able to obtain a Firearms Acquisition Certificate and also a Certificate of Completion of the Hunter Safety Training Program
Obtain a valid NT Class 5 Drivers License
Equivalencies recognizing related experience may be considered.
The Town of Inuvik is a growing, dynamic community that serves as the hub of the Beaufort Delta Region. We are offering a starting rate of $33.26 per hour (approx. $64,857 per annum) with an additional Northern Allowance of $7.25 per hour (approx. $14,131 per annum).
