Job Description:

We are looking to hire a dynamic and enthusiastic General Manager for the Rodd Royalty; a 4 star property ideally located in Charlottetown. This property was newly renovated in 2010 and has 119 guestrooms and suites, a pool and fitness centre, a breakfast room for our free continental breakfast, a bar and a banquet operation capable of accommodating 500 people. This remarkable candidate will commit to success and give a “lead-by-example” approach, have a strong background in Rooms and F&B, be passionate with Sales and Marketing, and enjoy being involved with the community and organizations.

Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:

The ability to effectively lead and mentor the hotels team to provide the ultimate level of operation and financial objectives.
Detail oriented and highly organized
Previous management experience in the hospitality industry.
Experience and over-all knowledge of all hotel operations: the F&B Department; Sales;     Housekeeping; Maintenance; Rooms Division and Human Resources.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
