Opportunity:

We are currently seeking the right person to fill the position of Fleet Superintendent in our Public Works Department. The Fleet Superintendent is responsible for the overall supervision, direction and safety of employees in the Fleet Section.  This position coordinates the resources for management of the Fleet, Garage and Material Management Operations.  Other administrative responsibilities include contract administration, budgeting, and policy development while focusing on handling customer service issues for the section.

As our preferred candidate you will have:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
Certified Engineering Technologist or Applied Science Technologist registered with Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists
Four years of fleet management experience
Knowledge of fleet management theory and practices
Knowledge of materiel management theory and practices
Supervisory experience in a fast paced shop environment with changing priorities
