The District of Saanich seeks an individual to oversee aquatic program delivery at Gordon Head Recreation Centre for a term position of up to one year. The successful candidate will oversee aquatic lesson services and lifeguarding services as well as general pool operations. Requirements include a College Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies or related field with minimum two years experience in an aquatic setting; program specialty certifications (current Water Safety Instructor Award, current National Lifeguarding Certification – Pool Option and either current National Lifeguarding Instructor Training or current Water Safety Instructor Trainer; current Standard First Aid with CPR “C” with AED, a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence and satisfactory police information check.
