Applications are invited for the Regular Full-Time position of Parking Enforcement Officer in the Administration Department at the City of Langley. Reporting to the Chief Bylaw Enforcement Officer, this position involves enforcing parking regulations under the City’s Traffic Regulation Bylaw and the Motor Vehicle Act. The successful Candidate will walk City streets and parking lots, in all weather conditions, chalking tires where parking signs designate time limits and on subsequent tours, ticketing offending vehicles.
RATE OF PAY: Pay Grade 15: $26.61 to $27.85 per hour
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday*, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.**)
*5 consecutive days per week per Letter of Understanding

The successful candidate will have Grade 12 supplemented by training in bylaw enforcement, experience in the field of investigations or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicants must have a valid Class 5 drivers’ license for the Province of British Columbia.
