Director of Community Services

The successful candidate will be required to:

Be a strongly self- motivated and highly organized individual
Have an understanding of the northern cultural and political environment
Show proven experience managing and supervising people
Demonstrate experience in Community Services Development
Hold a relevant post-secondary diploma and/or degree in Public Administration, Recreation Administration, or a related area
Have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
Equivalencies recognizing related experience may be considered

The Town of Inuvik is a growing, dynamic community that serves as the hub of the Beaufort Delta Region. As a member of the Senior Management team, the Director of Community Services directs and manages the development and ongoing operation of the Community Services Department, including all recreation programming and the Centennial Library.

We are offering a starting rate of $46.08 per hour (approx. $89,856 per annum) with an additional Northern Allowance of $7.35 per hour (approx. $14,332 per annum).
