The Deputy Fire Chief is a dedicated fire service professional responsible for assisting the Fire Chief in the organization, planning and direction of all Fire Department services.  As an accomplished Fire Department Command Officer, the Deputy Fire Chief responds to emergency situations throughout the District and provides administrative and supervisory support to the professional and volunteer personnel.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience, of a progressively responsible nature, in firefighting including three years of service as a Fire Captain or higher, as well as a degree in a related program.
