Camp Kivuni is looking for energetic, positive and dynamic role models to organize and administer safe, innovative summer programming for children aged 5 to 12 years.

The Town of Inuvik is pleased to offer the following opportunities:

One (1) Day Camp Coordinator – Summer Term – June 15th to August 28rd 2013
We are offering $21.42 per hour plus a Northern Allowance of $6.88 per hour.

Seven (7) Day Camp Counselor(s) – Summer Term – June 29th to August 21th 2013
We are offering $18.21 per hour plus a Northern Allowance of $6.88 per hour.

Camp Kivuni will be offering a combination of organized summer camp style activities and new playground based programming. The successful candidates will be required to:

Have experience working in a recreational, outdoor environment or adventure based setting
Have experience working with children and youth
Be strongly self-motivated, and have a strong desire to help others
Be creative and be a dynamic team leader
Have experience supervising recreational staff
Possess a current Class 5 NT Driver’s License
Available to work days and evenings

Preference will be given to students enrolled in a post secondary program as well as to those who possess current First Aid and CPR Certifications
