Reporting directly to the General Manager, Transportation Services, the Branch Manager, ETS will be responsible for leading and managing Edmonton Transit Services (ETS).   The department oversees the operation of a transit (LRT and bus) and road system that Edmontonians and visitors rely on 24/7 to safely, efficiently and cost-effectively move around the City.  This world-class transportation system also attracts business, tourism and investment to the City.  In this critical role, he/she will be responsible overseeing over 2,300 employees and an annual operating budget of over $344 million.

As the successful candidate, you have over 10 years of experience in progressive leadership positions in complex organizations where transit (LRT and bus) experience is an asset. A collaborative leader, you will foster relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the continued success and ongoing development of ETS’ goal to increase ridership and enable an active transportation culture.  A strategic leader who can give life to Council’s vision through their participation as part of the Department’s leadership team.
