The District of Summerland has an excellent opportunity for a Water Supply Technician III. The work involves troubleshooting, operating, maintaining, and upgrading a wide variety of equipment and components in the District’s water treatment facility and distribution infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a team player with good communication and computer skills.
REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Completion of an accredited post-secondary program in Water Quality Technology (or equivalent), plus related municipal experience and training in water treatment and or water distribution systems.
EOCP Water Distribution Operator III Certificate or Water Treatment Operator III Certificate.
AWWA Chlorine Handling and Safety Certificate.
B.C. Class 5 Driver’s Licence
