Transportation Services Working Foreman / Engineering Technician – City of Trail – Trail, BC

The City of Trail is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Transportation Services Working Foreman / Engineering Technician.

Reporting to the Public Works Manager, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for the performance of duties specifically related to the organization and coordination of work carried out by the Engineering Department.  The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the overall Public Works operation and maintenance of Roads, Parks, Cemetery, Utilities and Facilities and providing Public Works with engineering services on City infrastructure, underground utilities and above-ground structures.  The incumbent will be able to work with little supervision and will be expected to exercise considerable independent judgment.

This position is within the CUPE Local 2087 Bargaining Unit.  Wages and benefits are as per the Collective Agreement.  The City of Trail provides the opportunity for a flexible work week.
