The City of Maple Ridge is currently recruiting a full time Subdivision Development Technologist to join our team of professionals in the Engineering Department.

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Development you will be responsible in this specialized and technical role for:

Reviewing specific aspects of Subdivision and Development process concerning subdivision and rezoning applications and development and building permits.  You will provide assistance and advice to property owners and developers seeking approval of applications and ensures that the specific requirements of the City and applicable by-law provisions are complied with.  In addition, you will review servicing designs for new roads and utility systems and the impact of developments on existing infrastructure.

Graduation from an Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering Technology is required along with experience in a Municipal Engineering office OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

You must have eligibility for certification as an Applied Science Technologist with the Province of British Columbia.

You must have a valid Driver’s License (class 5).
