Controls & Equipment Ltd. (C&E) is currently recruiting for the position of Project Engineer/Project Engineering Technologist to join our team at our Head Office location in Moncton. Qualified candidate will have a technical and mechanical aptitude.  Position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Summary:
This position serves to provide engineering support by way of designing HVAC, Lighting and Access Control Systems. In this role, Project Engineering will be responsible for the following duties:

Duties:
Prepare submittal drawings for control systems based on engineering plans and specifications.
As built drawings as required.
Develop flow diagrams, valve and damper schedules, I/O summaries as required.
Work with consulting Engineers to ensure accuracy of estimate/design.
Work with area leads to ensure installation follows estimate.
Research and confirm materials for job spec.
Confirm estimated material is correctly applied and cost effective.
Communicate with installer, area lead and/or engineer on projects.
Monitor timelines for rate of completion for project and associated documentation.
Prepare and ensure all reports are legible and factual.
Visit job sites regularly to maintain job knowledge and skills, site meetings, and quote change orders.
Design / layout DCC System Architecture.
Timely completion of all associated documentation and paperwork as per company procedures.

Qualifications:

Completion of a BSc in Engineering (P.Eng) or a 2 or 3-year technology (PTech) program.
Knowledge of building automation systems.
Experience working in the field in any trade or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Working knowledge of C&E product line is a definite asset. (Training will be provided)
Experience in programming and commissioning HVAC DCC systems is a definite asset.
Solid computer skills.
Experience in Microsoft Visio software or relevant CAD software.
Experience in Microsoft Office.
