This position involves routine and complex technical work relating to planning, mapping and research for the Development Services Department.  This includes technical reviews of development and land use applications and zoning matters; providing professional advice and information on planning, community development, zoning and environmental reviews; preparing staff reports; assisting with preparing and reviewing City Bylaws, and other related work.

Qualified candidates possess a two year diploma in Planning Technology or a related degree/diploma, five years of municipal related experience and a valid Class 5 BC Drivers License.
