The City of Kenora is now seeking an experienced Manager of Operations and Infrastructure to lead the direction and management of the Operations and Infrastructure Department. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Manager of Operations and Infrastructure will oversee the operation, performance and provision of effective and efficient services relating to the municipal water utility, the sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems, roadway maintenance, environmental services, municipal fleet, drainage infrastructure, and engineering.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Public Administration, Engineering or related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution, as well as a minimum of 10 years’ supervisory experience in a senior management position. The ideal candidate will also have at least 10 years’ progressively responsible experience within a municipal setting, preferably in a municipal-related water, wastewater and storm water, engineering and/or fleet management service environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Formal leadership and management training will be considered an asset.
