Maintenance Technician – Port Elgin, NB

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the objective of this position will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.

Mechanically inclined persons are welcome, training on the industrial machinery is provided.

Responsibilities may include:

Perform routine maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance operations

Qualifications:

Ability to work evenings and nights
Problem solving and trouble shooting ability
Ability to travel internationally on occasion for training
Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
