Devonian Coast Wineries owns and operates three distinctly different award winning wineries in Nova Scotia, Canada with total production of well over 100,000 cases per year.
The largest, Jost Vineyards, is nestled on the beautiful Northumberland shores of Nova Scotia. Jost Vineyards produces world-class wines from some of the most distinctive premium-quality grapes in North America. As the undisputed leader and longest operating winery in the Atlantic region for the past 30 years, we aspire to capture the true character and essence of our unique terroir in every bottle of wine we produce.
The second winery, Gaspereau Vineyards is a premium boutique operation in the Annapolis Valley region of the Province. In 2012, it was rated number 16 among the over 400 wineries in Canada.
The third operation is in its infancy and the goal is for the Devonian team to shape it into a game changer in style and quality for wineries in the province.

We also believe making the best wines involves teamwork and so we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to work out of our Malagash location. Overall responsibilities would include the upkeep and maintenance of the premises of all three vineyards locations.
Duties include:
Management of food processing equipment including pumps, mixers, presses, centrifuge and bottling lines.
Repair and maintenance of three phase motors
Trouble shooting electrical issues
General upkeep and maintenance of all buildings
Maintenance and upkeep of organizational vehicles including cars, vans, tractors and forklifts
Repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems throughout organization
Some property maintenance
Inventory management
Skills required:
3-5 years related work experience with a proven track record
Trade and occupation certificates considered an asset
High School/GED
Ability to lift 50lb repeatedly
Ability to lead and provide directions to contractors
Industrial electrical and three phase motor experience
Other – First aid, WHIMS, Valid drivers license, Own transportation
Additional details:
Rate of Pay: $15.00-$20.00/hr pending certification
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30
Start date: Immediately
