Our Client located in MacKenzie, British Columbia has an opeing for an Instrumentation Technician

Qualifications

Red Seal Certified as an Instrumentation Technician
5+ years of experience, preferably in the pulp and paper industry
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities

Measuring and control flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and other variables
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments
Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts
Perform preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
