HSEQ Manager
Responsibilities:
We are presently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic, team player to play a key role in the HSEQ department of K&D Pratt. As a member of our team, your primary responsibility as the HSEQ Manager is to oversee all Health, Safety and Quality functions. To manage document control and liaise with clients and auditors as required.
Duties may include:
Maintain and implement the company’s HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant governing HSE laws and regulations.
Personally investigate all HSE incidents, from LTI potential to more serious injuries; Study and interpret incident reports and provide recommendations to company management for the necessary mitigating measures;
Review all HSE incident reports and summary incident reports
Enhance client relationships by soliciting feedback regarding the company’s safety practices and performance at client work sites;
Liaise with various departments to drive strategic planning and development of safety programs and implementation initiatives;
Coordinate or delegate the monthly safety meetings schedule and agenda;
Lead key client quality and safety audits, ISO and COR safety audits;
Ensure that all safety related reporting and documentation are completed and tracked;
Ensure company’s continual compliance with WHSCC and WCB regulations, particularly the incident reporting rules;
Perform random field safety audits at operations sites, including the shop and main company office, and identify issues and make recommendations regarding corrective actions;
Maintain the HSEQ’s Quality Management System (JDs, SWPs, Training Matrix etc.);
Introduce changes in the OH&S Code and Regulations to company when the changes come into effect;
Spot quality deficiencies through NCR’s and work with various departments to ensure all employees have proper training and qualifications;
ISO 9001-2015 improvement plan to new standard;
Training profile;
WHMIS to GHS implementation.
Qualifications:
Diploma/degree in related field
Two – Five years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
