The Hamlet of Sachs Harbour is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in a municipal public works environment.
Ability to operate, repair and maintain stationary and mobile equipment.
Skilled in problem-solving, budgeting, organization, planning, safety practices and public relations.
Hands on person with proven ability in capital asset maintenance, project management inventory control.
Under the supervision of the Hamlet Foreman, the Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for delivery of all municipal works programs and services within budget.
