Applications are invited for the Regular Full-Time position of Engineering Technologist to work in the Engineering Services Department.  Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering Services, the Engineering Technologist provides technical support and infrastructure capacity analysis, reviews design submissions, develops conceptual designs of engineering services, prepares technical reports, and assists in establishing programs, policies and procedures relating to operating functions of the department.

RATE OF PAY:  Pay Grade 29:  $39.05 to $41.52

HOURS OF WORK:  35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

A Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized Institute of Technology and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience in municipal engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.  Applicants must be registered or eligible to be registered as an Applied Science Technologist in the Province of British Columbia.  A valid Class 5 Driver’s License for the Province of British Columbia is required.  Details of the position and its requirements can be found in the job description at the following link:  www.city.langley.bc.ca
